Job Overview

Major Logistics is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter to join operations at our client’s site in Leeds. This is a key role supporting efficient yard and loading bay movements to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Placing empty trailers onto loading bay doors at the start of the shift

• Moving full trailers off doors once loading is complete

• Replacing full trailers with empty units as required

• Ensuring all movements are carried out safely and in line with site procedures

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience (new passers will also be considered)

• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

• Good understanding of yard safety and shunting procedures

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay & Benefits
