Class 2 Driver (Ongoing) – Leeds, LS25

Major Logistics are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for Class 2 Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity of a permanent, full-time position for the right candidates.

Role Details

• Driving an 18-tonne vehicle with tail lift
• Monday to Friday – no weekend work required
• Start time: 05:00, finishing around 15:30
• Average 45 hours per week
• Delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen food products
• Multidrop deliveries – typically around 15 drops per day
• Delivery areas include Hull, Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool, and South Yorkshire
• Use of a pallet truck provided, though some handball may be required
• Consistent routes where possible – drivers are often kept on the same run each week

Training

• Full 1-week training programme
• Shadowing an experienced driver before going out independently
• Ongoing support from the transport team

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Newly qualified drivers welcome
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Must be 21 years or older
