Senior Front End TypeScript Developer (M/F) - Lisbon - Remote (BBBH496404) Lisboa, Portugal
Kelly IT is recruiting a Senior Front End TypeScript Developer to directly integrate our client in the Greater Lisbon area in one of the fastest growing Fintech UK companies - Full remote.
What we're looking for:
- TypeScript minimum 7 years experience.
- Implementing defensive code for security considerations with front end software development.
- Experience working within strictly Object Oriented or Functional Programming paradigms.
- Previous development experience of single page Web applications using Angular/React.
- Previous experience of library dependency management using NPM or similar.
- The ability to develop unit & integration tests using JavaScript test frameworks, e.g. Karma, Jasmine, Protractor.
- Experience using version control tooling & repositories, e.g. git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
- Previous experience in communicating with Microservice REST APIs, and an understanding of Networking/HTTP protocols.
- Practical examples of using best practice software development principles, e.g. DRY, KISS, SOLID
- Understanding of agile work tracking/ticketing software such as Jira.
- You have an eye for design and visual aesthetics and attention to detail.
- You know how to use design patterns to create simple and reusable components for complex UIs.
- You're self-driven, with a and conscientious mentality and a commitment to innovate with high- quality work.
- Experience with RESTful API interaction.
- Knowledge/experience of frontend test frameworks eg: Jasmine, Jest.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, BDD, TDD and CI/CD.
Desirable Experience:
- Understanding of Storybook UI Component Framework.
- An appreciation for the design process of the backend API ‘microservices’ that will feed the frontend.
- You have had exposure to Lean or Agile working practices but want to cement your knowledge and help contribute to continuous improvement and eliminating waste as part of a team culture.
- NodeJS / NPM / Grunt / WebPack.
- Docker.
- css and css framework (less or scss).
- bootstrap 4 or similar FrontEnd Toolkit.
- html5.
- Knowledge of modern UI styling approaches using CSS, Sass or CSS-in-JSS solutions bootstrap LTS or similar FrontEnd Toolkit.
- Monorepo & Micro FrontEnd solutions, e.g Angular NX.
