THE ROLE
The London insurance recovery and counselling team is looking to hire an insurance coverage lawyer to handle commercial disputes involving policyholders and their insurers.
A wide range of clients are involved from financial institutions to global manufacturers. Much of the work has an international element and there is close liaison with other offices whose clients often need advice in relation to English law/London market issues or where there is a London seated arbitration, provision whether linked to English applicable law or a foreign law.
The role will also involve some non-contentious work such as reviewing insurance policies and drafting bespoke clauses or policy wordings, again for policyholders.
THE CANDIDATE
With 2pqe or more, you will have a strong desire to work in the field of insurance coverage and to become a key player in the firm's highly regarded insurance recovery and counselling group in the further development of this exciting and important part of the commercial litigation practice.
