Administration Officer
Location: Sheffield
Hybrid working – 40% office based / 60% remote working
Hourly rate: £12.84 p/h
Contract: Temporary 12 - month assignment
Monday – Friday Full time 37.5 p/w
Core hours 10am-2:30pm[Earliest start 10am and earliest finish 2:30pm]
Earliest start 7am and latest finish 7pm
Full time and Part time (22.5 hours, minimum of 3 working days) (job-share within shift patterns in the same location)
Training hours would be set
No weekend work
Training provided:
1 week course, ideally full time within the first week (induction on the Monday), second week straight into the role/ practising for 8 weeks

Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their existing team of Administration Officers in Sheffield for Family human rights unit Asylum and human rights operation.
You will be providing appropriate support, working within the case working teams, managing basic administration tasks, answering emails, requesting information and liaising with other departments and stakeholders.

Job responsibilities:
Enrichment worker and casework
- Assess document is relevant and real
- Pre -case working stage
- Checking everything submitted by applicant
- After training working on 5/6 cases per day
- Cases are measured weekly - (people already here and extending leave) Sometimes in UK illegally or already in the UK
- NOT CUSTOMER FACING, working on Atlas (home office system)
- In this high-profile department, the role will be in an administrative support capacity at the [Sheffield] Home Office
