Business Analyst - Intermediate - 85% remote (BBBH982) Mayo, Republic of Ireland


A snapshot of your key responsibilities as a Business Analyst would be:

  • Document the needs and requirements of the business and customers by liaising directly with the stakeholder groups to identify which requirements and processes can be made more efficient, automated, simplified and eliminated.
  • Document blueprints and approach for strategic business capabilities required to transform the organisation to one that delivers on its strategy.
  • Produce appropriate documentation (UX/UI vision) to ensure understanding and facilitate sign-off by using diagrams, As-Is/To-Be process flows and scenarios, etc.


Education and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of substantial professional experience in Business Analysis.
  • A formal qualification in Business Analysis or a related discipline at Level 8 (or higher) on the NFQ.
  • Practical experience of requirements gathering (UI/UX, Functional & Non-Functional) for service impact and designs elements. Demonstrate how Customer Flows, Customer Persona’s and To-Be Processes are managed to support the future Customer Journey to transform the business and that delivers on its strategic vision and objectives.
  • Experience of standardising and mitigating risk by identifying common business solutions that can be used across the organisation, ensuring a holistic enterprise-wide approach to customer service delivery, enhancing effectiveness, reducing costs, and utilising its capacity to deliver even better services.
  • Experience of core business analyst activities, including process mapping, data requirements mapping, requirements gathering, solution options appraisals. Experience to ensure successful outcomes on large business transformation initiatives during the Design, Development, Test and Deployment phases.
  • Experience of communicating requirements (functional and non-functional) clearly and effectively to various stakeholders. Experience of identifying and explaining issues and solutions clearly and effectively. Excellent influencing skills with the confidence to deal with staff effectively at all levels throughout the organisation. This includes the production of high-quality documentation.
  • Experience of working with end users to identify requirements and issues ensuring that all decisions are validated with data from multiple perspectives. This includes collaboration using techniques such as brainstorming, mind-mapping and focus groups.
