Role Overview
As a Telesales Executive based in our Normanton Sales Office, you will be a vital part of our business-to-business (B2B) sales team. Reporting directly to the Channel Director, you will focus on developing an existing customer base and maximizing revenue through proactive outbound sales. Your mission is to deliver high-level service while increasing product lines, profitability, and long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Conduct outbound calls to develop leads, prospect for new business, and reactivate lapsed accounts.
- Account Management: Proactively manage and grow an existing customer base to maximize sales and margin levels.
- Relationship Building: Act as the "voice of the company," building trust and rapport with customers via telephone to convert market spend to Vow.
- Problem Solving: Interpret customer requirements and present tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- KPI Management: Execute a daily proactive plan to ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales budgets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in harmony with departments including Customer Services, Credit Control, Inventory, Marketing, and Transport to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Market Growth: Identify and target new areas for growth and become a subject matter expert in new product ranges and key lines.
Skills & Experience Required
- Natural Flair for Sales: A confident communicator with a proven track record in a sales or account management environment.
- Resilience: The ability to remain consistent and determined when pursuing new business and overcoming objections.
- Active Listening: Skilled at identifying customer needs and pain points to offer the right solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Able to monitor customer accounts effectively to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Professionalism: Although primarily phone-based, this is a customer-facing role in essence; you must represent the brand with integrity and professionalism.
