IT Project Manager – Infrastructure/Azure/O365 - Wolverhampton
IT Project Manager required for a leading organisation based in Wolverhampton, where you will be responsible for delivering infrastructure and cloud-based projects, specifically around Azure & Office 365. You will be responsible for running projects using the full project lifecycle, across multiple business functions, from inception to deployment.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable IT Infrastructure Project Management experience, particularly with Azure & Office 365.
Key Responsibilities of the role
Run IT projects using the full project lifecycle across multiple business functions within deadline, budget and quality constraints, from creation to delivery.
Follow the project process, including the identification and prioritisation of complex tasks.
Be responsible for the budgetary control of the projects.
Prepare and deliver post project reviews for business leaders, and create recommendations where necessary.
You will also be responsible for mentoring more junior project managers.
There will be some travel with the role, so the ideal candidate must be flexible.
Key Skills of the role
Extensive experience managing complex infrastructure projects, and experience successfully delivering IT solutions within a busy commercial environment.
Proven experience with Prince2 and Agile development methods (SCRUM, DSDM or RUP), and a real enthusiasm for delivery using collaborative and iterative working practices.
Experience of delivering Microsoft solutions, especially Azure and Office 365.
Analytical and logical approach to problem solving, technical competence and the enthusiasm to try out new ideas/practices.
Extensive experience with MS Office, and project management software (MS Project).
Salary
The salary for this position is between £50,000 - £53,000 per annum, plus car allowance, dependent on the experience
