Java Software Engineer – London - £70k – Java, Maven, Restful APIs, SQL, J2EE

My client in London are looking for a Java Developer to develop their RESTful service architecture using cloud technologies on the companies multi tier platform

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver complex enterprise applications with high code standards.
• Participate in Agile software development projects and tasks including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, peer review, deploying, monitoring and support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with a cross functional team of developers, Project Managers, Product Managers, Quality assurance, management and operations.

Technical Skill Requirements:
• BSC degree in Computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
• 3 years + solid experience with hands on care Java 8
• Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Maven/Mockingto/TestNG
• Proficient using GitHub
• Strong knowledge of cloud based infrastructure like Azure/AWS
• Fluent in SQL and common OO design Patterns
• Experience with J2EE Application Servers
• Linix/Unix environment expereince
• Working knowledge of Javascript is preferred
