About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking an Apprenticeship Employer Engagement Consultant to engage with employers across Worcestershire and the West Midlands Combined Authority regions. This role is pivotal in building relationships with decision-makers to secure apprenticeship opportunities and enhance workforce development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound prospecting activities with employers to initiate conversations.
• Manage a pipeline of prospective employers based on coaching programs and industry needs.
• Facilitate discussions on digital transformation and workforce development planning.
• Secure commitments from employers for apprenticeship delivery and other coaching programs.
• Enhance the reputation as a leading training provider for tech and digital apprenticeships.
• Attend networking events to generate leads and foster employer relationships.
• Account manage allocated employers and support the learner journey.
• Identify strategies for revenue growth and future opportunities.

Experience Requirements:

• Background in the apprenticeship or skills sector.
• History of successful business development and sales.
• Experience in engaging with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in converting prospects into sign-ups.
• Strong B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to meet strict timelines and targets.
• Experience attending networking events.
• Passion for building relationships with employers, stakeholders, and learners.
• Must have access to your own car and be flexible to travel across the Midlands.
