Warehouse Operative

Location: Stafford ST18

Pay: £14.43 per hour

Hours: 37 hrs/week, Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:00, Fri 07:30–12:30

Contract: Temporary

License: FLT License highly desirable

We’re recruiting a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to support busy warehouse and workshop operations in Stafford ST18. This Warehouse Operative role is ideal for someone reliable, proactive and safety-focused, who enjoys hands-on work and keeping things moving to plan. FLT license is highly desirable for this vacancy.

Key duties:

As a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver , you will:

• Offload and count deliveries accurately before GRN processing
• Pack parts for dispatch, including boxing and banding pallets
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, removing hazards created during packing/unpacking
• Support safe disposal of COSHH-regulated materials
• Assist with two-person tasks and work to EHS standards at all times
• Complete local collections and deliveries and support urgent supplier runs
• Support service engineers with loading/offloading equipment (including items over 25kg) and preparing tooling

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver , you’ll need:

• Strong attention to detail and a practical, can-do approach
• Confidence with safe manual handling and safe ways of working
• A strong safety mindset (EHS)
• Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
• FLT licence/experience (preferred)
