We’re recruiting a proactive, detail-focused Despatch Coordinator to take ownership of daily despatch operations—ensuring goods are correctly picked, checked, packed, documented and shipped accurately and on time. If you thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoy coordinating people, paperwork and priorities, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing

  • Coordinate and schedule daily despatch activity to meet delivery deadlines
  • Build and manage despatch plans to keep transport and shipments running efficiently
  • Verify outgoing shipments against customer orders and documentation
  • Ensure items are correctly labelled, packaged and meet quality standards before leaving site
  • Liaise with customers, carriers and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements and resolve queries
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders on ETAs, delays and any issues
  • Prepare and process despatch paperwork (invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, etc.)
  • Ensure shipments meet legal, safety and regulatory requirements (including international where applicable)
  • Work closely with warehouse teams to allocate stock and support stock control for despatch
  • Monitor and report discrepancies, shortages or damage to inventory/shipments

What we’re looking for

  • Proven inbound/despatch experience within a warehouse or logistics operation
  • Comfortable with a physical role, including lifting heavier items safely
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator with a professional, cooperative approach—able to take direction and follow through
  • High attention to detail in checking, labelling and documentation
  • Calm under pressure with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Working knowledge of logistics/transport processes
  • Confident using MS Office (Word/Excel); experience with ERP/WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar) is an advantage

Why this role matters

You’ll be central to ensuring customers receive the right goods, at the right time, with the right documentation—supporting service levels, compliance, and a smooth warehouse operation.
