Our client is a distributor of industrial products, connecting manufacturers and importers through an efficient drop-ship model. They curated range covers safety equipment, storage solutions, material handling, and facility management, serving both SMEs and large-scale enterprises.

We’re looking for a AI Chatbot Prompt Engineer to build an AI-powered chatbot from scratch for an eCommerce platform. This is a greenfield role with full ownership of the chatbot’s design, prompt strategy, and delivery.

You’ll operate as a one-person function, shaping the product end-to-end and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver a practical, customer-facing AI solution.

Responsibilties:

• Build and deploy an AI chatbot for an eCommerce website
• Design and own the entire AI prompt strategy (no existing prompts in place)
• Define conversation flows, intents, responses, and edge cases
• Integrate the chatbot with a Magento-based platform
• Translate business needs into effective conversational AI solutions
• Continuously optimise chatbot performance based on usage and feedback
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience building chatbots or conversational AI products
• Strong hands-on AI prompt engineering experience
• Proven ability to deliver greenfield projects and build products from zero
• Exposure to eCommerce platforms (Magento preferred)
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
• Comfortable working independently and owning delivery end-to-end
