Job Summary/Introduction

- Partner with local and global stakeholders to define strategy and vision for acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth.
- Partner with country managers, regional leaders, and other global senior stakeholders to identify and prioritize growth opportunities
- Oversee execution of day to day marketing initiatives across sub-channels. Identify operational best practices
- Establish regional center of operational excellence to maximize efficiency and scalability while maintaining fidelity of marketing campaigns
- Partner with product and technology teams to ideate on new opportunities and provide requirements for new product and feature launches
- Lead product localization and implementation efforts including implementing site/app changes, obtaining stakeholder sign-offs, testing and defect resolution

Description

Based in Tokyo to lead a marketing team responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth across the APAC region. In addition to partnering with local and global stakeholders and leaders to identify and develop the customer acquisition and growth strategy and vision, APAC Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing the execution/implementation of the strategy. As a strategic leader and operator, they will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with different levels leadership to identify, prioritize and realize opportunities for driving the growth.

- Experience in Marketing, in online and/or B2B marketing
- Business level Japanese in verbal and written formats
- Data-driven marketing experience, with a heavy emphasis on subscription marketing expertise and leadership
- Experience in entertainment or media businesses
- Project management and team collaboration experience
- Analytical and quantitative skills – experience using data to develop and measure marketing programs
- Experience building and managing high performing teams
