Job Summary: The MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing and executing MPD operations at drilling sites. This role involves ensuring safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of MPD systems, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment to optimize drilling performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and monitor MPD operations in line with project requirements.
- Collaborate with drilling teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MPD systems and equipment.
- Collect and analyze data to optimize drilling parameters.
- Maintain and calibrate MPD equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide technical support and training to rig personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Contract length: 6-month extendable
