The Best Connection Mansfield is currently recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client, based in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual who can lead by example, support warehouse operations, and help maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and health & safety.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your duties will include:

• Supervising and supporting the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team
• Allocating workloads and ensuring operational targets are achieved
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control procedures
• Overseeing goods in, goods out, picking, packing, and dispatch activities
• Ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse
• Training and mentoring new and existing warehouse operatives
• Conducting regular quality and accuracy checks
• Liaising with management to improve warehouse performance and efficiency
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Ensuring company procedures and policies are followed at all times

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

No weekends required.

Pay Rate

• £15.50 per hour
• Weekly pay through The Best Connection

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a warehouse team effectively
• Experience within warehousing, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment
• Reach Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work
