Java Developer (m/f/d) Vienna

Are you an experienced Java Software Engineer (m/f/d)  with interest in the Fin-tech / Banking field? My client is specialised in banking services, you will have the opportunity to be at the helm of exciting projects and contribute to innovative new solutions. The position is located in Vienna, Austria.

You will work closely with the development team in advancing the company's service as well as systems and other products.

Your Daily Tasks:

  • Technical design and the continuous improvement of our services and interfaces
  • Participate in the entire application life cycle, focusing on backend design, clean coding and debugging
  • identify new features and solutions to meet business needs
  • Close cooperation with the entire team (cross-functional)

Skills/knowledge you should have to be successful in this Role:

  • Several years of experience with JAVA
  • Knowledge of the design and implementation of web services (REST, SOAP)
  • Kotlin experience is a bonus
  • Knowledge with relational databases (e.g. Postgres)
  • Skills with Scrum and development tools (GIT, Gradle)
  • Business knowledge of the payment/ banking industry is an advantage
  • Very good Knowledge of English - German is a plus!
