Recycling Centre Operative – Maidstone
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Recycling Centre Operatives to work at a busy recycling centre based in Maidstone.
This is a temporary position with the potential to become full-time and permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
- Working at a busy recycling centre
- Assisting customers on site
- Manual lifting and moving items
- Helping to keep the site clean, safe and organised
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Providing a friendly and helpful service to customers
Working hours:
- 08:00 – 16:30
- Monday to Sunday rota
- Weekend working will be required
The ideal candidate:
- Comfortable with manual work and lifting
- Reliable and punctual
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to work weekends as part of a rota
- Previous recycling, warehouse, labouring or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
