Production Lab Technician / East Grinstead / Mon–Fri 37.5 hour a week including weekend work/ £12.65 per hour/ 12-month contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in microbiology and diagnostic technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high‑performing production laboratory team responsible for manufacturing Sensititre™ Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) plates — a critical product used worldwide in clinical diagnostics.

You will be part of a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment where precision, consistency and compliance are essential. Full training is provided, and you will be supported by an experienced team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

·         Preparation of antimicrobial solutions following SOPs, including weighing, dissolving, and diluting compounds.

·         Operation and monitoring of dispensing equipment to ensure accurate and timely production output.

·         Conducting routine checks such as priming, pouring and weight verification of microtitre plates.

·         Working within aseptic environments to maintain product sterility and meet medical‑device manufacturing standards.

·         Maintaining compliance with GLP and GMP across all laboratory and documentation activities.

·         Accurate completion of production paperwork to support traceability and quality assurance.

·         Always Adhering to Health & Safety protocols within laboratory and cleanroom settings.

 

What We are Looking For

·         Experience in a laboratory, production or GMP environment is desirable but not essential.

·         Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.

·         Comfort working in aseptic or cleanroom conditions.

·         Good numeracy and documentation skills.

·         A proactive, reliable team player with a commitment to quality.
