Manufacturing Technician Birmingham B15 1 / Shifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30/  Contract Type: Full-Time Hourly Rate: £12.65 per hour 6 month contract.

Our client, a leading organisation within the Protein Diagnostics sector, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician II to join their Operations team based in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own workload independently in line with the production schedule.
• Maintain and manage inventory to ensure materials are available and accurately transacted.
• Take ownership of scheduled activities for designated equipment, work areas, or operational functions.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across processes and workflows.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and “right first time”.
• Undertake any additional duties reasonably required to support operational needs.

Education & Qualifications

• GCSE-level education or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience or a relevant degree.

Experience Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory work, or a related environment.
• Preferred: Experience working in a cGMP environment and managing workload effectively.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident IT user, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn new processes quickly.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
