Overview

• GI Pro are recruiting for a Plater/Fabricator for a world leading company in steel, steel and automotive sector
• Working a day shift Monday – Thursday 07:00-15:30 Friday 07:00-14:00
• Paying between £15-£16/ph depending on experience          
• Overtime is available at enhanced rates of 1,5x
• This is a full-time temporary-to-permanent role with immediate starts

The company – Supplier to the aerospace, steel and automotive

The role:

• Skilled Plater/Fabricator- the ability to MIG weld will be an advantage
• Making fire simulation models – airplanes, cabins, ship cabins
• Working with mild steel heavy gauges
• Ability to work from technical drawings and fabricating from scratch
• The role is ideally for an apprentice trained engineer, however our client will consider someone with time served
• The ideal candidate must be confident using variety of fabrication machinery ex. Presses, rollers, guillotines etc.

Candidate attributes

• You will come from sheet metal or heavy industry background
