 Financial Analyst/ Business Partner

Salary: GBP350 - GBP450 per day
A role has opened up for a Financial Analyst/ Business partner to support the head of finance. This is a role covering 2 areas, so a candidate who has been involved in a merger or transferring budgets would excel.
The role is pivotal in the successful delivery of a finance platform to support the roll-out of a Reference Data Programme. The team comprises one onshore head and two offshore staff. The role holder will take ownership of a number of tasks and candidates should demonstrate the ability to work on a standalone basis, yet have very strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The role holder must has strong financial management experience, including: budget tracking, spreadsheet maintenance and be able to establish and maintain good working relationships. The role involves tracking of actuals v plan and revised business cases.
The candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant who has either been a financial analyst/ Business manager/ Business partner. Financial services experience is a must, preferably within investment banking. The successful candidate will need to be a confident communicator who will be able to handle multiple budgets in a complex environment.
Awareness of UK/US GAAP/ IFRS. Full understanding of management reporting process including budgeting and actuals tracking, as well as an ability to work with detail.
