 Valuations Reporting Controller
Location: London, England
Salary: GBP450 - GBP500 per day
The role is to assist in the preparation of the monthly valuation report, acting as a first point of review. You will facilitate a framework within which completeness and correctness of P&L attribution can be assured during the month end cycle. The role holder will collate, review and challenge the fair value adjustments reported each month to ensure high quality MI is reported.
Reports must be produced on time with significant issues properly highlighted. The role holder will be liaising with line controllers and assist in the gathering and analysis of data.
Major challenges of the role include; understanding products, risk positions and key trading strategies globally and leveraging this understanding to add value and enhance reports, development of a monthly consolidated London IPV report and supporting process and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Applicants should be Qualified Accountants with strong communication and analytical skills, and IFRS knowledge. Experience in Product Control and Valuations are an advantage.
