Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for an Electrician on behalf of an organisation to cover a fixed term contract for 10 months.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Electrician:

• Conduct inspections, testing, and planned maintenance of electrical installations and fire safety systems.
• Test, maintain and ensure compliance of emergency lighting systems across residential properties.
• Carry out PAT Testing in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Assist with routine fire alarm testing and inspections, including weekly, six-monthly, and annual programmes.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair door entry, access control and automated gate systems.
• Diagnose electrical and system faults, undertaking remedial works and repairs as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current British Standards, legislation, and industry best practice.
• Accurately record inspections, maintenance activities, and completed works using handheld digital devices.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider electrical maintenance team.

Essential Requirements of the Electrician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• 18^th Edition
• Full UK Driving Licence
