Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Accommodation Advisor to advice and support clients in the community to overcome complex housing issues and to identify appropriate accommodation.

Responsibilities of the Accommodation Advisor:

• Develop and maintain links with a number of organisations, including housing associations, local authority housing departments, approved private rented sector landlords and welfare rights organisations
• Assist clients with specialist information, advice and guidance in housing and maintaining tenancies
• Support multi-agencies to identify housing issues as early as possible and resolve standard queries
• Keep records efficiently and in line with HMPPS, prime contractor and Group policies and procedures
• Maintain records and report outcomes using computer systems as required
• Manage a caseload and progress cases to completion, approximately 16 new cases per month
• Organise own diary and manage time effectively on a day to day basis

Essential Experience of the Accommodation Advisor:

• DBS or willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to work unsocial hours, if required
