Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: East London  

Salary: £110-120 per day  

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Hours: 8:30am-4pm

Start Date: Immediately/September

We are currently seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants in East London for Multiple opportunities in Primary Schools across East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education and experience in supporting pupils to make a real difference to the learning and development of children at the school.

If successful, you will be working in ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ graded Primary Schools with amazing opportunities for progression and continuous professional development and strong school community.

Key Responsibilities as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

• Planning, delivering and leading interventions for students with SEN
• Providing individual and group support to help children achieve their learning goals.  
• Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.  
• Supporting the school’s ethos, ensuring that all pupils receive a high-quality learning experience.  
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent support for pupils.  

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience in a school setting.
• Previous experience working with children in a teaching assistant or classroom support role and ideally SEN.  
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.  
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a calm and focused environment.  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.  
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
