Salary: GBP35000 - GBP45000 per annum

Service Manager - Children's residential Semi independent Provider - overseeing 2 homes in south London That are going to go from semi independent to regulated - £35,000 - £45,000

 

The focus of our service delivery is to help and support young people to develop their independent living skills to prepare them to transition towards adulthood and be able to manage their own tenancy in the community effectively. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manager who has worked in the semi-independent or cauldron's social care industry. Experience in working with children and young people from the ages of 16-25 years in a semi-independent or children social care setting is vital. You will be passionate about helping young people achieve outcomes and be committed to delivering a high-quality service across the unit or units that you manage. Job Purpose: 

To manage the staff and resources of the service(s) to provide a positive living experience for all young people. 

To ensure that you and our client consistently provide a high-quality service and to work alongside our referrals team to ensure that your units remain economically viable. 

 

To liaise with the Head of Operations and carry out delegated tasks, as required. 

To provide regular and effective supervision to staff within your team to support and develop them in their roles. Main Tasks & Responsibilities: 

To oversee the support, safety and development opportunities for all young people.

Ensuring that young people's outcomes are achieved and evidenced via weekly/monthly reports and other relevant documentation. Providing such evidence to Local Authorities as required and promptly.

To be responsible for the personal development and training of the staff within the service. 

To assist the Head of Operations and Directors in the development and promotion of our client and its services. •

To liaise and co-operate directly with Local Authorities and other multi-agencies.
