Tool Hanger / Setter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tool Hanger / Setter to work within a well-established company based In Ashford – Injection moulding and toolmaking business. This is a permanent position offering genuine career progression opportunities.
Tool Hanger / Setter duties
• Operating moulding machines
• Performing tool changes, tool trials
• Basic Machine maintenance
• Injection tools maintenance
• Work as part of the technical team
Tool Hanger / Setter required experience and competencies
• Experience operating moulding machines
• Experience on tool changes would be advantageous but not essential
• Able to ensure the parts produced meets the company standards
• Work alongside toolmakers for trials and repairs
• Able to work as part of a team, unsupervised

Any necessary training will be provided by the Technical team
Tool Hanger / Setter shifts and pay
• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
• 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays per annum. This increase progressively to 25 days + Bank Holidays within the first 5 years of service
• Negotiable depending on experience (aprox £12 ph)
In this role you will be part of a small, friendly team working for a family run business –Plastic fabrication with more than 50 years experience.
