Salary: GBP35000 - GBP40000 per annum + NO WEEKENDS / MON - FRI - DAYS

Crisis Intervention Manager - Childrens Residential Sector - Mon - Fri 09.00  - 17.30 - £35,000 -£37,000 PA

based in Broxbourne (Herts) flexi remote working also - 2 services based in Hounslow and Oxfordshire and you will need to be on the road 1-2 times per week. 

 Your role includes:

  • Frontline services working directly with the young people
  • Manage caseloads
  • Attend / Manage LAC review meetings
  • Liaise with our local authority clients
  • Liaise with young people regarding any needs or requirements they may have
  • Obtain daily reports from Supervision team, comprise and send to Local
  • Weekly reviews of the supervisions
  • Risk assessments
  • Building relationships with children/young people to support them build self-esteem and assist in the development of new techniques to improving their
  • To promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each child/young
  • To be required to provide appropriate guidance and support to staff, ensuring they are following Best
  • Managing the supervision Team and completing appraisals, liaising with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and other Head of departments
  • Escalate concerns
  • Ensuring the Supervision Team are up to date with all In House Training to enable them to be deployed in
  • Undertake administrative tasks, maintain effective recording
  • To adhere to appropriate guidelines and
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Report any concerns to the necessary heads of department as soon as possible

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Crisis intervention management - desirable
  • Working closely with local authorities
  • NVQ Level 5 in Childcare would be preferred or Minimum Level 3
  • Understanding of looked after children
  • Flexible to work different days and hours if required
  • Excellent communication, leadership and management
  • Excellent Administrative Skills
  • Full UK clean driving
  • A passion for working with
  • An Enhanced DBS

 

Contract Type: Full Time Employed

 

 5 days a week – 8 hours per day (Hours may vary) flexible hours including evenings and weekend may be required

Must have use of their own vehicle, business mileage can be claimed.
