Maintenance Manager (PR-1533810) East Kilbride, Scotland

Salary: GBP46000 - GBP50000 per annum + pension, annual holidays

Randstad C&P are working with a leading facilities management provider who is seeking a permanent, full-time Maintenance Manager.

Working 40 hours per week at a major contract, you will oversee the maintenance delivery. In this role, you will coordinate specialist subcontractors and directly manage an on-site team of technicians and craftspeople to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment.

Package:

Main Duties:

  • Direct all PPMs and urgent repairs across electrical systems, mechanical plant, and overall building fabric.
  • Manage daily tasks and performance for technicians, tradespeople, support staff, and grounds teams.
  • Make sure all work fulfils agreed service standards and site requirements.
  • Represent the team in regular Hard FM reviews to track progress.
  • Offer expert advice on site maintenance to healthcare staff and department managers.
  • Keep team spending within limits and flag up any potential financial risks early.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety laws across all daily operations.
  • Create and run risk assessments, method statements, and work permits for all maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of technical management experience in facilities, building services, or engineering.
  • HND in a relevant building services subject, preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong working knowledge of health and safety laws, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, P&L, financial reporting, KPIs, and work orders.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Full UK drivers licence.
