Gi Group are recruiting for Yard Labourer’s on behalf of our client based in Sheepbridge, Chesterfield. For the correct candidates this could lead to permanent employment!!
We are looking for hard working, reliable individuals whom are willing to work as a part of a team to ensure quality standards are met and customers’ orders are fulfilled.
**Please note: this role requires a lot of manual handling and is physically demanding**
WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday: 08:00-17:30.
SALARY:
£10.00 per hour, increasing to £10.40 after 12 weeks of work.
DUTIES:
· To ensure the yard/workshop areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
· Cleaning and preparing equipment, using a range of tools such as pressure washers and welding machines.
· Checking and storing hired equipment, logging any defects or repairs that are required.
· Moving equipment around the yard and assisting with any repairs required.
· Liaising with customers on a day-to-day basis when loading and unloading the required equipment for each job.
· Adhering to strict health and safety measures at all times.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
· The ability to work well as part of a team.
· The desire to learn and willingness to undertake any relevant training and development required.
· Good customer service skills.
· Awareness of Health and Safety measures.
