Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a corporate professional organisation in the Bilston area who are actively seeking an IT System Administrator to start immediately.
You will ensure that the IT function fully supports the requirements of the business. Being part of a small, dedicated team based at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bilston, near Wolverhampton. This is an exciting and challenging position working for a fast-paced market leader.
Duties and tasks will include:
- Establish Hardware Standards / Replacement Intervals
- Network and Servers Upkeep and Maintenance
- General IT Support
- Look after Hardware and Software, Servers and Network
- Manage Contact with External Support Companies
- Responsibility for Data Quality and Maintenance
- Create Basic Software Specifications
- Provide Documentation of New Developments
- Provision of End User Training and Technical Support
- Generate Reports and SQL Scripts as Necessary
- Setup Email and Call Forwarding
- Create Documentation as Requested
- Setup New Users
- Support your Team Members

- PC Hardware Knowledge and Experience
- Software Installation and Setup
- Windows 7 / 10 / Server 2012
- Microsoft Domain Administration and Knowledge
- Active Directory
- DNS / DHCP / Hyper-V
- Computer and Network Security
- Virtualisation
- Extensive Networking Knowledge, including Wireless.
- VPN / Firewalls
- Mobile Devices, iOS / Android
- Fast Learner
- Microsoft Office
- SQL Knowledge
- Data Manipulation and Analysis
Parking is available. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
