Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a leading manufacturing organisation in Redditch who are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to start immediately.
Duties and tasks will include:
Identify and target new business opportunities to include building and maintaining strong long lasting customer relationships by partnering them and understanding their requirements aswell as developing and assisting in existing customer accounts.
Succesfully manage sales projects from lead until delivery on site
Understand our brand and equipment and be able to demonstrate and discuss how products work and how they will interact with the customers equipment.
Maintain Sales databases
Be able to identify and correct malfunctions on equipment
Participate in the organisation and evolution of the team
Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
Technical knowledge of calibration / leak / pressure / electrical testing equipment and basic PLC fundamentals would be advantageous along with general knowledge of production facilities but these are not essential.
Electronic / Machine builder background or understanding.
Strong commercial accumen
Ability to plan, develop and execute multiple concurrent projects
Be a flexible team player with attention to detail
Be able to generate ideas and propose solutions
Be open to adapt to new materials and technologies as they develop
Able to communicate with individuals at all levels within an organisation, both verbally and in writing
Fluent in English
Full clean driving licence
Capable of working to company quality standards, processes and procedures of the ISO9001 system
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and a 2.30pm on a Friday.
