Customer Service Advisor (3 months)

Customer Service Advisor (3 months) (KLCSS) Oldbury, England

Salary: GBP11.5 - GBP12.02 per hour

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a sandwell public sector organisation in Oldbury, who are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to start immediately. The role will be to the end of March 2023, potentially longer. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 5pm.

Please note this role will be office based in Oldbury and IS NOT a remote or hybrid working role

Duties and tasks will include:

  • To deliver excellent customer service by efficiently managing and resolving customer enquiries to the highest standards via
  • existing channels and upcoming digital contact channels. This will be across multiple disciplines for council wide services.
  • To listen and engage with our customers and support them to access our services through a range of evolving channels.
  • To provide help to those who need assistance to access our services and influence those who can to do their day-to-day
  • business online to access services independently to self-serve.
  • To utilise your passion and skills for on-line technology to switch channels seamlessly with the customer e.g. when an
  • issue needs to be taken offline, or jumped into web-chat.
  • To engage with customers on public channels where information and advice would be beneficial to a wider audience.

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

  • You can demonstrate you are a good listener with clear communication skills who can remain calm and professional whilst displaying a caring an empathetic attitude, dealing with a diverse range of customers.
  • The ability to record accurate details and use our IT systems is essential.
  • You must have 3 GCSE’s at minimum Grade C, including English Language or equivalent.
