Customer Service Advisor

Customer Service Advisor (KLCSE) Sutton Coldfield, England

Salary: GBP9.9 - GBP10 per hour + parking, staff discounts

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a national Head Office in the Erdington area who are seeking Customer Service Advisors to start immediataley.

You will be working 8.5 hour shifts between Monday to Friday, earliest start being 8am - and the latest finish being 7pm, working 5 days. You will be required to work one Saturday out of every six. Parking is available.

Please note that this role is office based in Erdington and IS NOT a remote working or hybrid role

Duties and tasks will include:

  • Answer Inbound Calls
  • Placing customer orders over the telephone
  • Respond to Customer emails on email facility, Amazon & Ebay within company KPIs
  • To assist in handling customer complaints within expected SLAs
  • To ensure correct information is given to customers and stores at all times regarding orders, queries and complaints.
  • To support the Customer Service Team Leader, where required.
  • To ensure any additional ad hoc duties which may be required of the CS team are completed e.g. Data Inputting, Outbound calling
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.
  • Uphold Data Protection.

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

  • Experience within customer services, You may have worked in a retail environment or perhaps in a bar or restaurant. As long as you are a real people person and willing to learn this could be the role for you. Don't worry if you don't tick all of the boxes below as full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience within customer complaints background is highly desirable but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to assess and understand all relevant information to reach fair outcomes
  • The ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly
  • The confidence to make decisions within agreed discretionary limits.
