About the R2R Accountant (Intercompany) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all GL and interco-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for intercompany accounting inquiries
- Ensure proper accounting for intercompany GRIR accounts and prompt balance clearance
- Conduct reconciliations for related accounts
- Provide explanations and documentation for any mismatches in intercompany balances
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in current activities
To succeed in this R2R Accountant (Intercompany) role, you must have the ability in handling GL operational tasks and a strong understanding of GL and intercompany functions.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' work experience in the GL or intercompany function
- Degree/diploma in Finance and Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Great communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical skills
