GCP Solution Architect | Cloud-Native Projects | Financial Enterprise

We’re looking for an experienced GCP Solution Architect to design and optimize cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You’ll work on high-impact, global projects, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance architectures that support advanced data processing, analytics, and risk management in a dynamic international environment.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing GCP-based architectures that power mission-critical platforms. You will:

• Design cloud-native solutions on GCP with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Lead modernization and migration initiatives, shaping long-term data and analytics strategy.
• Drive efficiency through reusable patterns, automation, and alignment with enterprise standards.

This position is based in Amsterdam, a global financial hub, offering an international working culture and exposure to cutting-edge projects.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in cloud architecture (preferably GCP).
• Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, IAM, Looker.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, DevOps, DBT, data governance.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams and managing stakeholders.
• (Nice-to-have) GCP certifications and knowledge of Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
