Facilities Supervisor

Contract: Temporary to permanent
Location: Malton Hospital
Hours: Working 5 over 7 days 12.00-20.00 37.5 hours per week

Mon to Fri - £11.14ph
Nights/Overtime/Saturdays: £16.04ph
Sundays/Bank hols: £20.94ph

GI Group Scarborough are proud to be representing the NHS. We are recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor to work at Malton Hospital. This is a permanent contract with the NHS and immediate start!

As a Facilities Supervisor, the right candidate will have good sound knowledge of Catering and Domestic and Previous experience in a Health Care environment. The right candidate will also need supervisory knowledge and customer service.

Key Duties

• Ensuring the area you are assigned to is cleaned in accordance with the work schedule for that area.
• Undertaking specialist cleaning as required.
• Using machinery/ equipment in accordance to your training.
• Ensuring all the cleaning materials and disposables are used economically and stored securely and safely.
• Ensuring that whilst carrying out your duties the correct colour coded equipment is used to prevent cross contamination.

• Good communication skills verbal and written
• Computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal skills Good organisational skills Good time management Able to work under pressure
• Able to carry out physical tasks including the use of industrial machinery.
• Ability to prioritise own and others workloads Ability to use initiative
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Handle numerous diverse tasks simultaneously
• basic knowledge of or be willing to complete appropriate training and qualifications in:

· Cleaning procedures
· COSSH Procedures
· Infection prevention and control
· Food Hygiene level 2
· Relevant water systems training
· Regeneration ovens, dishwasher and floor machinery training.
