About the role
Vinova are working with a leading privately owned engineering business operating as a design-led EPC and specialist subcontractor within industrial energy and infrastructure. The role reports into Head of Engineering and works closely with senior electrical engineers, project managers, mechanical and process engineers, and external civil and structural consultants. You will support projects for major industrial clients and emerging technologies such as BESS, with typical project durations of one to two years.
Duties
• Design LV electrical systems including switchboards and transformers
• Produce single line diagrams, cable sizing, breaker sizing and power studies
• Support procurement through technical scopes and supplier evaluations
• Interface with electrical subcontractors during design, installation and commissioning
• Provide site support and commissioning assistance across regional projects
Skills and experience
• Background in electrical engineering with LV systems exposure
• Experience producing electrical designs and single line diagrams
• Understanding of electrical installation and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
