About the role
Reporting into the Project Lead, you will collaborate with electrical, protection, communications and civil engineering teams, while also engaging with OEMs, Network Service Providers (NSPs) and AEMO. You will lead SCADA design and integration delivery to ensure successful energisation, registration and operational readiness.
Duties
• Lead SCADA architecture design and integration for BESS projects
• Configure and program SCADA software, HMIs, PLCs, RTUs and telemetry systems
• Direct Factory and Site Acceptance Testing, liaising with client and vendors
• Drive integration with EMS, DERMS and other operational platforms
Skills/experience
• Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering (or trade equivalent)
• Proven delivery of at least one operational BESS project in SCADA/integration
• Hands-on expertise with protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus) and AEMO requirements
• Strong problem-solving, leadership and commissioning experience
