Team Leader – Witney
The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader based in Witney.
Pay Rate: £14.87 per hour
Hours: Thursday to Monday, 07:45am – 17:15pm
Location: Witney
Contract: Full-time ongoing position
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Team Leader to support the smooth and efficient running of a busy Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).
This is a hands-on role where you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, support the team and ensure high standards of health, safety and customer service are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the site
- Coordinating and supporting the team to ensure the site operates efficiently
- Ensuring waste is moved and sorted into the correct waste streams
- Assisting members of the public with waste disposal queries
- Providing a high standard of customer service
- Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and organised
- Monitoring and following all health, safety and environmental procedures
- Leading by example and supporting colleagues when required
- Reporting any issues or concerns to management
