The Best Connection are looking for a Yard Supervisor to join our leading manufacturing client in Wheatley

 Location: Wheatley

 Shift times:

• 7.00 am - 17.00 pm
• Monday - Friday

Pay rate: £12.71

Responsibilities of the Yard Supervisor:

• Operational Management - Direct daily yard activities, including the movement of vehicles, materials and equipment
• Enforce health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
• Lead, train and schedule yard operatives and assistants
• Monitor inventory levels, oversee loading/unloading of lorries, and maintain, service, or report defects on machinery (e.g. Forklifts, JCB's)

Qualifications and experience required:

• Will require someone from a merchant background
• Knowledge of maintaining yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition
