HGV Class 2 Driver – Removals | Wallingford | £16.50 per Hour | Immediate Start

Immediate Start Available! Looking for a hands-on driving role with regular weekday hours? The Best Connection Oxford is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client's removals team based in Wallingford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver who enjoys variety, teamwork, and keeping active throughout the working day.

Pay & Hours

• £16.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 7am – 4pm
• Immediate start available
• Weekly pay every Friday

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle to transport the removals team to customer sites
• Assisting with the safe removal and relocation of office furniture and equipment
• Completing runs to the local recycling centre to dispose of materials safely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working closely with the removals team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
• Delivering excellent customer service while representing the business

What We're Looking For

• Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN or other major endorsements)
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
• Physically fit and happy to undertake manual handling
• Reliable, professional and a strong team player
