Assembly Operative – Temp to Perm

Location: Oldham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (Overtime available at enhanced rates)

Our client, a market-leading manufacturer based in Oldham, is looking to recruit an Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

The Role:

• General warehouse duties
• Using hand and power tools including router (full training provided)
• Carrying out basic assembly and production duties
• Manual handling – good physical fitness is essential

Requirements:

• Recent, solid work history with joinery background (work references will be checked at interview stage)
• Hands-on, practical skills
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills (tests will be carried out at interview)
• Reliability, good attention to detail, and willingness to learn
