Customer Service Administrator for leading Somerset based agriculture & farming building materials supplier

Easy commute to work from Bristol, Weston super Mare or Taunton.

The Role

The Customer Service Administrator you will build relationships with new & existing customers, increasing turnover and margin through sales, quotations and the external sales team. Your duties will include:

  • efficient communication with customers & suppliers
  • processing customer orders, payments and enquiries through telephone / email
  • processing returns / credits
  • following up quotes to meet conversion targets
  • maintaining a thorough understanding of products & services

The Company

Our client is the UK’s leading supplier of fibre cement roofing sheets to farming and agriculture.  The production facility and distribution centre provides a seamless supply chain of the finest roofing systems and building products for the agricultural, industrial and domestic sectors – direct to clients from the factory floor. They are based in Highbridge, Somerset and have been supporting farmers in the UK for the last 40 years, sponsoring local livestock markets and supporting agricultural events.

The Person

As Customer Service Administrator you will have experience in a customer service role, and ideally although not essential, sales related in construction materials / agricultural roofing.  You will also have the following:

  • track record of driving increased sales, and excellent telephone selling skills
  • good administrative and communication skills
  • ability to develop strong relationships with customers / stakeholders
  • knowledge / experience of Sage (desirable)
