Position: Stock Control Operative

Location: Chesterfield

Hours: 4 on 4 off Nights, 18:00–06:00

Position: Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £15.88 per hour

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for a Stock Control Operative to join a leading logistics and distribution business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering long-term work and genuine opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled stock counts accurately and within required timescales

• Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving inventory issues

• Recording count results and maintaining accurate system records

• Checking product locations, labels and bin accuracy

• Supporting stock investigations and stock reconciliation activities

• Confirming inbound stock reconciliations and manifest accuracy

• Liaising with internal departments regarding stock queries

• Clearing stock-related issues and exceptions within the warehouse

• Working closely with operational teams to maintain stock accuracy

• Following site procedures and stock control processes at all times

Requirements:

• Previous Stock Control, Inventory Control or Warehouse experience is essential

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good IT and PC skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable and committed approach to work

• HLOP experience would be advantageous but is not essential
