Production Operative - IMMEDIATE START - Chesterfield S43 3LS

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives for S43 3LS Chesterfield to join a busy manufacturing and print production industry.

You will be working as part of the production team in a manufacturing environment, helping to ensure products are produced, finished and prepared to the required quality standards while keeping production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities for Production Operative

• Operating and assisting with production and printing machinery
• Feeding materials into machines and monitoring the production process
• Carrying out basic machine setup and adjustments where required
• Checking finished products for quality and identifying any defects
• Packing, labelling. assembling and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Moving materials and finished goods around the production area
• Completing basic production paperwork and recording quantities
• Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
• Following all health & safety and company procedures
• Working closely with other members of the production team to achieve daily targets
• Reporting any machine faults, quality issues or production problems to the supervisor

What We're Looking For in a Production operative

Previous production, manufacturing, printing or machine operating experience would be beneficial, although training can be provided.

You should be:

• Reliable commute in Chesterfield with good attendance and timekeeping
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment
• Able to follow instructions and work to production targets
• Quality focused with good attention to detail
• Happy working both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable with a role that involves being on your feet and handling materials throughout the shift
