Job Summary:

The Manager will own day-to-day administration, user support, reporting, and adoption for LinkedIn Learning and Workday Learning and will support the preliminary rollout and long-term adoption of Sana in Workday. The role will use AI tools to strengthen learning resources and operations, partner with People Technology, which owns Workday configuration, security, integrations, and technical deployment, to explore and implement AI capabilities in Workday, and contribute Workday Learning expertise to related Talent capabilities, including Career Hub.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day business administration of Workday Learning for Corporate Learning and Development initiatives, including course intake, content setup, assignments, audiences, due dates, reminders, communications, completion tracking, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Own day-to-day LinkedIn Learning operations, excluding user provisioning, which is automated through SSO. Responsibilities include monitoring the LMS integration, maintaining content availability, reporting, supporting adoption, troubleshooting, and coordinating vendor support cases.
  • Lead the preliminary rollout and support the long-term adoption of Sana Learn in Workday. Administer access to the Sana Content Creator role; train, coach, and support content developers and end users; and develop and maintain resources that enable effective, sustained use.
  • Apply and contribute to improving approved governance, security, quality, documentation, and data-handling standards, and maintain clear system-of-record boundaries between non-GxP learning in Workday Learning and GxP learning and records in Veeva or other regulated systems.
  • Translate operational needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for People Technology; coordinate user acceptance and regression testing, document defects, retest solutions, and confirm readiness for deployment.
  • Enable the federated learning model by establishing shared administration standards, service expectations, governance practices, and role clarity while coordinating priorities, resources, dependencies, and escalations across Corporate Learning and Development and functional learning teams.
  • Train, coach, and support Functional Learning Partners in independently administering approved learning content for their functions, using practical standards, checklists, demonstrations, office hours, and reusable learning resources.
  • Partner with Functional Learning Partners and content owners to clarify ownership and structure, publish, test, maintain, and retire learning assets and learning paths in the appropriate platform.
  • Maintain accurate role-based job aids, administrator guides, standard operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge resources on Egnyte, SharePoint, and ServiceNow that support consistent execution across the federated learning model.
  • Manage assigned Learning support cases through ServiceNow, provide clear and timely support to, and partner with People Technology on configuration, security, integration, and technical escalations.
  • Use ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Sana Learn, and other AI tools to improve learning materials and operational resources and develop new ones, applying critical thinking, appropriate data handling, human review, and rigorous quality controls.
  • Partner with People Technology to explore, test, and implement AI capabilities in Workday that automate or improve administrative processes, reporting, and end-user experiences, evaluating benefits, risks, and adoption needs.
  • Continually define and refine operational reporting requirements and validate report logic, data accuracy, access, and usability. Establish meaningful success measures and use platform data, support trends, test results, and user feedback to identify risks and recommend practical improvements.
  • Implement and operationalize approved learning-platform roadmap capabilities through discovery, requirements, testing, launch readiness, training, adoption, and production stabilization.
  • Assess Workday releases and platform changes for operational impact; coordinate testing, update guidance, and communicate changes to administrators, partners, and learners.
  • Contribute Workday Learning expertise and hands-on support to the design, testing, readiness, and adoption of additional Talent capabilities, including Career Hub, where learning dependencies or use cases are involved.
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Learning and Development, Functional Learning Partners, People Technology, IT, Compliance, HR partners, regional partners, content owners, and vendors; listen to and incorporate diverse perspectives while clarifying responsibilities and resolving dependencies.
  • Bring operational expertise to roadmap and governance discussions, develop clear recommendations, and build consensus while escalating enterprise strategy, architecture, investment, and prioritization decisions to the Associate Director and appropriate governance bodies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with seven or more years of relevant experience in learning technology, HR technology, learning operations, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced hands-on Workday Learning administration experience, including content, assignments, audiences, communications, completion tracking, reporting, testing, and end-user support.
  • Experience administering LinkedIn Learning and its integration with an LMS, including operational support, reporting, and adoption.
  • Experience supporting Workday Learning Powered by Sana or a comparable AI-enabled learning-content capability, including access administration, user enablement, and sustained adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to use enterprise AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to improve and develop learning and operational resources, with sound judgment about data handling, source quality, and human review.
  • Ability to apply sophisticated analytical thinking and sound judgment to broad operational challenges; translate business needs into complete requirements and acceptance criteria; and assess operational readiness.
  • Experience establishing repeatable operating practices and enabling distributed administrators or Functional Learning Partners in a federated learning model.
  • Strong reporting and data-validation skills, with the ability to establish meaningful success measures and turn findings into practical improvements.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, project coordination, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to listen openly, communicate directly and respectfully, build consensus, and guide others without formal authority.
  • High self-accountability for commitments and outcomes, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing needs, seek input, and communicate risks and dependencies early.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow knowledge and case management, SharePoint, Egnyte, Simpplr, or another enterprise intranet, and development of administrator and end-user learning resources.
  • Experience contributing learning-platform expertise to Talent technology implementations, including Career Hub or a comparable talent marketplace or career development capability.
  • Experience in a high-growth, regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment and familiarity with non-GxP and GxP learning system boundaries.
