Materials Coordinator

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $54,100 - $66,600 per year

Location: San Carlos, CA - Onsite Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized Materials Coordinator to manage purchasing, shipping & receiving, and inventory operations. Mechanical abilities to support basic facility and equipment maintenance are a strong plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Manufacturing to procure production materials and supplies.
• Manage delivery schedules to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Purchase additional items as needed across the organization.
• Evaluate vendors based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
• Assist QA with annual supplier evaluations.
• Prepare and verify outgoing shipments, including packing and labeling.
• Hand-deliver shipments to FedEx when required.
• Receive incoming materials, verify accuracy, and complete receiving documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production inventory.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse and other storage areas.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities (preferred).
• Knowledge of GMP environments, ideally 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related industries.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Clear communication with supervisors regarding issues or concerns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Ability to perform basic internet-based tasks.
