Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a HGV C1 Driver (7.5T Driver) to work with one of our well-established customers in the removals industry based in the Bristol area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV C1 Driver looking for ongoing, long-term work with a professional company that values its workforce. The role offers regular weekday shifts, optional weekend overtime, and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday

• £16.00 per hour (Basic Pay)
• £17.93 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Saturday

• £16.00 per hour (Basic Pay)
• £17.93 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Sunday / Bank Holidays

• £16.00 per hour (Basic Pay)
• £17.93 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Holiday Pay Information

• Holiday pay is accrued separately in line with current legislation.
• Rolled-up holiday pay is not available for this vacancy.

About the Role

As a HGV C1 Driver, you will be working within the removals industry, supporting residential and commercial moves throughout the region. Working alongside porters, you will help deliver a professional and efficient service to customers while ensuring all goods are transported safely and securely.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and professionally
• Loading furniture and household goods onto vehicles
• Delivering goods to residential and commercial properties
• Unloading and positioning items as directed by customers
• Securing loads using appropriate equipment and restraints
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Working closely with porters and site teams
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Adhering to all driver hours and road transport regulations

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday work available
• Optional Saturday and Sunday overtime
• Ongoing long-term assignments
• Typical start times between 08:00 and 18:00
• Shift lengths typically between 8 and 12 hours
• Regular and consistent work patterns

Requirements

• Valid HGV C1 (7.5T) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties
• Reliable and professional approach to work
